MusiCare aims to promote the well-being of patients and caregivers in medical facilities through person-centered music making.
Taking into account the individual wishes of patients and nursing staff, professional musicians and music therapists make music directly on the wards and at the bedside.

The innovative person-centered music-making in hospitals was investigated in the international research project "ProMiMiC / Music on the Ward" at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna in cooperation with the University Clinic for Radiooncology at the Vienna General Hospital AKH.
